lol, do you want all of them?

And they do get given away as presents. These are the ones I have left kicking around.

I also have 13 jars of jam :/ and only 2 of us live in this household. It's also unfortunate that he prefers marmite on toast to jam. :rotfl:

Yes please! I'm a newbie to chutney making and I really want to make some nice chutneys (particularly caramelised red onion chutney), so I would very much aporeciate them.

And yuck to Marmite. I could never marry a Marmite man! ;)

You can liquidise them to make sauces. They taste the same of course but can be more versatile as a puree - eg to go into soups and gravies/stews. They can be a coating sauce for chicken, chops, etc. And if you use a tomato chutney pureed and added to HM tomato soup you can get something very close to H***z - guess who found that out by accident a few days ago :T

Not sure everyone would like this but chutney stirred into baked beans for beans on toast or beans and jackets is also lovely.

  • My sister discovered that onion relish smeared on corn on the cob is delish (and a lower fat option than butter). I also put chutney on under cheese on toast.
