Many thanks for all the replies and great suggestions. My daughter and her fiance were looking anywhere from Cheshire upto the Lake District.

I did some digging and found a link on the Directgov site which has an map of all the wedding venues in the UK. Look for the page on Marriage and Civil partnerships and it's on the right side of the page in a link.
