Orange BB starter technical help premium rate number

Hi.I have just switched packages with Orange to their £12.99 per month starter package(1mb).I am having problems of not being able to find server and screen freezing sometimes.I think this could be due to my line not being able to support the 1mb speed?.
The problem is that you have to call their technical support on a premium rate line which costs 50p per minute!.Does anyone know a way round this as i dont want to spend a fortune hangin on to complain to them!?.
