sparky, it will be in the manual. Also, make sure you are using the same type of disk -R/+R etc.. that your PC can read.
As for the OP, a vcr/dvd Recorder combo unit is easiest, because they have a dubbing function built-in, hit a couple of buttons and walk away. If you have (or intend to get) a miniDV camcorder, get one with a firewire/i-link input built-in.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

You will find the finalise disc somewhere on an on screen menu.
Its just a matter of pushing the right button and then it takes maybe 20 seconds or so0 -
Thankyou Mervyn and Albatross for all your great advice, i have managed to finalise my disks and now play them on other DVD players and my computer!!!
Can't believe a man in PC World told me i would have to buy a lead for £39.99 to enable me to do this!!!
