Tha's very cool, especially as I am having "issues" with o2 at the moment. Will they deal with anything on that line or do they "only have access to certain systems", despite being in the next room to someone who could deal with your call??!!Former MSE team member0

This number is for O2 select customer service only and they only deal with specific accounts. You will be diverted to your service provider when you enter your mobile number and if you are a non select customer this could mean you are still charged for the call at national or 0870 rates (please check this info with your provider before accepting as i am not 100% sure this is still in practice).
I know what you are thinking i wont enter my mobile number and will get through but they will just transfer the call when they answer and find out you are not a select customer.
Sorry to dampen the flames but i dont want people wasting their time or being charged without their knowledge, if the above is not the case please feel free to correct me.
Regards

If you're calling from a landline, you cannot be charged a different rate if someone diverts your call; only if you dial the new number yourself. I'd be very surprised if the same didn't happen with mobiles.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0
