Hi
I am looking to buy a new printer and could do with some advice. I would like something cost effective in terms of the cost of replacing ink.
Do I get inkjet/toner/laser??? Any tips?
Not too bothered if its wireless or a multi functional printer. Also doing mostly b&w stuff but some coloured but if there is a decent B&W around then would just get that
Any helpers?

Depends what's on special offer at the time, suggest you look at Argos for starters. Personally, for multi function use, I would go with an inkjet printer with separate ink tanks for each colour. If you print mainly b/w, a mono laser might be better for you.0

when you get the carts refilled i think it costs about £7 1 black cartridge and 1 colour problem is when one of the colours runs out you have to get it re filled and other 2 colours have not run out also the black cartridge holds about 7ml of ink epson compats hold 16ml of ink for 88p

Lets - be honest, letsbehonest :
You don't need to re-fill cartridges, they are cheaper than the ink [ish] for Epson. Knarf44 is correct when he days/says there are 5 manufacturers of printers worth buying and they are called :
Epson
Epson
Epson
Epson

My cheapo HP Deskjet 1660 (£29 at Amazon) is so easy to refill and the print quality ain't bad for the price.
Go on YouTube to see how to refill the HP300 cartridges then buy a cheapo refill kit from Tesco's etc - you don't need a plastic stand to put the cartridges in like shown in the video's.Peel back your baby's eyelid to find no nationality or religious identity mark there.
