Hi everyone,
Was just wondering I've got my pram on ebay and someone has offered to arrange their own courier if I package the pram up.
The only problem is I no longer have the original box it came with...What else could I use..? Any Ideas?
Thanks.
Oh forgot to add its 3 in 1 so sending the pushchair, carrycot, and car seat aswell as accesories!

Try asking on Freecycle.
Someone perhaps has the box you need cluttering up their shed.

you could possibly do it with lots of bubble wrap and thick black bags and lots of parcel tape, although if they're sending a courier the whole thing would have to be under a certain size. I wouldn't fancy getting that lot in 1 parcel that would fit the size requirements of the usual couriers. You'd have to make sure your buyer tells you the maximum parcel size. A box would be ideal even just to wrap around the sides.0

Corrugated Card would also do it. I just Google 'Corrugated Card' and you can get a 10m roll for £3.690

Thanks for all the replies!
When giving her the dimensions ect what do I actually give her the dimensions of..? As the pushchair itself has differrent variations if that makes sense..?0 -
If you think you can get a sale with a good price for collection only, you might be better doing that. With something that size and shape its going to be hard to package safely and there's a chance it might get broken in transit. It further complicates things that the buyer is booking the courier as you're still responsible for it until it arrives at its destination.0

Hi, yes I thought that but this is the 2nd time it has been relisted as didn't sell preivous with collection only. It was collection only this time but as someone said they would arrange courier I thought it would be ok! Didn't think about packaging the bleedin' thing!
Its this Travel System...

So theres a lot to package! Hmmm Im stuck now, Plus when I give her the dimensions ect, do I give it her in pram mode, buggy only, or buggy with carseat on top?!
I must sound so stupid...Lol thanks for all the replies!0 -
She will need to know the dimensions of it when packaged. height, width & depth. They'll probably also need the weight.0

Ok so thats 3 parcels all in all she would need to know the dimensions of then, Best start looking for packaging then!0

Your buyer may have problems if the item is over 25Kg. As this would then require a 2-person lift.
Some couriers will not take parcels over this weight (Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Parcels2go and DHL for example).
In it's original box, the weight is 22Kg, I will assume it had bits of polystyrene holding it all in place.
Am I right in thinking that the car seat part is also the pushchair seat?, if so, them it makes it a bit easier to wrap.Never Knowingly Understood.
