Hi All,
This is for multiple things, I'm sure you all know already of Freecycle and in my local area there is a splinter group called Freegle, may be others like it in the local areas near you. Well they either run from the Freecycle site or through Yahoo Groups. I so far this year have managed to grab a new tv table new Ikea bed and a G-plan sofa bed. Not bad when your broke like me!0 -
The only thing I do warn that some things that do sound great like Iphone and Ipad what have you, are all just con's but what sounds real usually is.
Freecycle.org is the site forgot to add!
Thanks Daz0 -

Some misconceptions seem to be mentioned above.
Freegle is not the UK part of Freecycle or anything to do with Freecycle.
Freegle groups in the UK were setup by groups that "were" Freecycle but the people that ran the groups got fed up with the awful treatment
that they were getting from the US based Freecycle. This information is available on the web.
ISTR something 200 ish groups left Freecycle and setup Freegle as the UK equivalent, where they have been a lot better treated and gone from strength to strength with far better facilities than they did have.
Freecycle started insisting that new groups used the my.freecycle site (imo its awful) insead of Yahoo groups where freegle have remained.
The idea is the same, to save stuff from landfill - the big difference is that Freegle is run by UK volunteers who are able to speak out should they need to.0
