    I successfully booked a £1 room, being told that I would receive a confirmation email to confirm the booking. Does anyone know if/when this confirmation email arrives?

    drat completely forgot and when I went to book I forgot to click on the room. Soo close and yet so far lol

    I kept refreshing and when it finally connevted all the £1 rooms had gone, grrr started booking a £29 one and then that went..oh well. Sleeping bags on the street it is ;)
    Need a new start..wheres good to live in the UK?!

    It is always worth checking over the next few hours - if anyone has booked in error, or booked too many nights the rooms are usually released for sale again.

    I am beginning to suspect the Hoxton sale is just a clever marketing scam. Strange how the site crashes a minute or two before the sale, then miraculously comes to life again once ALL the rooms have been sold!

    Crashed first few times, then finally refreshed and it loaded allowing me to book £1 room. Looking at the dates there were none Fri/Sat so by time I clicked through the calendar working out what date would be good, they were all gone!:rotfl:
