    hi

    I need to get back into habit of meal planning for teas, snacks and lunchboxes as kids go back to school on wed and i need to get back to longer working hours to catch up after the school holidays..

    Sunday - roast chicken, pots, broccolli, carrots, yorkshires, etc

    Monday - pie, mash and mushy peas

    Tuesday - chicken pasta bake(using sundays chicken) must remember to make enough for leftovers for wed lunchboxes)

    Wed - mushroom rissotto

    Thurs - veggie lasagne

    friday - fish pie

    sat - HM curry night (using up batch cooking boxes from freezer)

    Need to remember to get back into habit of weekly baking for lunchbox flapjacks etc

    Monday - mince and potatoes (freezer)
    Tuesday - chicken pie with vegetables
    Wednesday - macaroni cheese with broccoli
    Thursday - roast dinner with spinach gratin
    Friday - chicken curry, naan bread with poppadoms
    Saturday - out
    Sunday - fish fingers, mushy peas and chips/smiley faces

    Right, 2nd week of mealplanning here and it's really helping me to stay focused and not spend too much (doing the GC so must stick to lists/plans !)

    Breakfasts = cereal, toast, boiled egg & soldiers
    Lunches = pack up for kids with tuna/sweetcorn pasta or rice, HM cake, piece of fruit and a yoghurt. Me and the A-levellers soup/HM bread or rolls. Omlette. Tuna & s/corn pasta.

    Main meals:

    Sun - SC lamb with roast potatoes, HG runner beans, peas and carrots, rice pud for dessert :D
    Mon - Lamb byriani (with leftover from Sun) and 2p Mr S choc whip thingy
    Tues - Meatloaf and HG runner beans (got a lot to use up :o)
    Weds - Roast chicken, roast potatoes and veg (only a small chicken so not sure if any will be left over)
    Thurs - Pork chops, mash & veg
    Fri - Corned beef hash and baked beans. Apple pie & custard for dessert.
    Sat - Bacon & onion flan and salad

    Snacks will be HM muffins/oaty biscuits/fruit.

    Sun - D Sausage, chips, egg & Beans

    Mon - L H/M Rice & Salad D - Chicken stir-fry with noodles - LO Nursery for both
    Tues - L - Hub - Sandwiches, M - Pasta salad D- beef kofta, rice, hm chappatti & hm onion pakoras - LO Nursery for both
    wed - L - H - Sandwiches, M&Lo - Jacket potato with tuna for me, cheese & tuna for lo & Salad. D - Spag bol
    Thurs - L H-sandwiches, M & LO - Chicken rice sald D- Vegetable risotto
    Fri - LH sandwiches, M& LO Pasta & tuna salad (or Jackets) D- Maybe going to blackpool if not prob left over spag bol
    Sat - L soup D- more than likely left over curry
    Sun - L not sure - D Roast Chicken Dinner with Spuds, carrots, swede, courgettes, peas, sweetcorn and hm stuffing balls.

    I'm also on Slimming world which makes lunches fun as i can't do bread (not that i particularly like it!) also Baby is allergic to wheat and gluten

    You know what, that is oddly quite similar to the "tatie stew" I already make :D. Recipe handed to me from my mum, from my mum's mum, not sure where it came from. I will probably be cooking up some of that soon, as the nights are drawing in and getting colder. Have you tried having yours with some ketchup on top? It's yummy.

    M 6th beef bourginon and new spuds and cabbage
    Tu 7th [STRIKE]bacon and broad bean risotto[/STRIKE] had a crap day and didn't feel like stirring risotto so ended up with chinese takeaway:o
    We 8th [STRIKE]salad nicoise[/STRIKE]slow roasted pork with cider potatoes and onions, cabbage-whoopsied pork from waitrose-I can never resist!
    Th 9th Turkey, bacon, leek and mushroom pie, new spuds and veg
    Fr 10th [STRIKE]chilli with rice[/STRIKE]pork chilli and rice (left over from the roast)
    Sa 11-mo 13th-away
