The most annoying response they can hear is "no comment". Say it after every question, even if they're just asking your name. Works great for cold callers too

Another ploy is to say 'just a minute I've got something on the stove' (or similar) put the phone down without ringing off and forget all about it..............!

we had our last letter 4 weeks ago and thought that was the end after ignoring all letters recieved but we were rather surprised to receive a call this eve from graham white on a mobile......how the hell did they get a mobile number?? we hung up after they asked us to confirm the address.

Maybe they just Googled you. Do you have an unusual name?

I found someone's mobile as the second result when I Googled her name and found where she'd posted her number on her friend's Facebook wall. Both were complete strangers to me but I just wanted to contact her following a news article (she had a rare surname).

Or maybe you put your mobile on your forms for the DVLA. They pass on all info to any parking company or Debt Collector claiming to have 'reasonable cause'.

Either way follow the advice above, see my post on 2nd September.

This is no Solicitor on the phone, catch them out, tell them you KNOW they are just Roxburghe and to stop all contact as you deny the alleged debt (use those words). Don't hide, don't put the phone down - tell them you will report them for harassment to your own Solicitor who is real (unlike 'GW' who they pretend to be).

and it goes on......just taken a call this time on our landline at home from graham white quite a rude lady i told her not to call again and she told me she takes instructions from her client and not from me!!!
Rang the number back she called me on - 01932 332048 and they answered as Roxburghe when i challenged them to identify if they were graham white or roxburghe or both the young girl told me that they are in the same building as Roxburghe and sometimes calls get put through to the wrong department sometimes!!! make of that what you will!!!

Im sure im in for some fun times/calls ahead!
