£7.70 overpayment today to empty account before payday tomorrow. Also made some cc payments in preparation for payday.

Stumbled across a rather generous 300 point survey on YOuGov so now at 4930 - payout this year should be achievable!

One more working day to go until I finish for Christmas, I can't wait for a break!

Think we cross posted newgirly. Well somehow even with all these treats I'm maintaining my weight. Guess overall I must be balancing out the calories in vs out!

20 points needed on y0ugov to cash out, I do hope they don't have a Christmas shutdown.

Just won 20p on tcb so have overpaid that plus £1 to round the account down to round number.

Present I bought my mum (who has bought a new house) has arrived today so will take that down today to surprise her. She's not moving out yet so we're going to spend some tome getting her new house just right for her.

Still have no idea when the Christmas food shop is being done but I'm sure between the 3 of us we will manage it.

Today will be spend doing yet more decluttering (why is this never ending) and cleaning. I'm off work now until after Christmas so hoping to be able to relax and enjoy the wonderful build up.

Thanks mfd, and to you. Will pop over to your diary for a catch up. Hope the renovations are going well.

Not much happening here in terms of slaying the mortgage, need 20 points on y0ugov so no available surveys. Someone who was specifically asked not to put £50 in my bank so have sent £25 to mortgage and £25 off the holiday. If I get any Christmas money I'm treating myself to a new fitness tracker and dh can have my old one. The one I want is as good as the top range ones and only costs £40.

Had a couple of glasses of wine [STRIKE]this morning[/STRIKE] edited to add this was meant to say 'last night' and got a niggly head now, it's just not worth it.

Right, I'm off to be productive!

    Good morning!

Quick tidy up of accounts and spreadsheet this morning so we know where we stand as we enter the enter the end of the year. Still don't have a diary for next year so planning can't be organised for that yet although I think I could manage with a notebook. Needed a 'new' notebook for the Christmas Eve box to start a new tradition of logging memories etc but found an old one upstairs and wrapped it in some lovely paper.

Just hit payout on y0ugov, happy Christmas to me!

Struggling here to get the children to do anything remotely Christmassy!

Might make myself a hot chocolate and watch a Christmas film on my own!!

Well yesterday came and went. Had its highs and lows and I realised I put far too much pressure on myself to create the 'perfect day'. The day is what it is and people want different things, especially small children! Managed to balance it at and did enjoy some quality time together building Lego, playing games and watching films.

Did make a sneaky 28p Tilly tidy yesterday to round down the account and have overpaid £8 this morning (no odd pennies and almost bought a film on 8ky then dh found the dvd so would have spent it anyway). From a spreadsheet perspective I don't even know if this makes sense but every pound I overpay seems to give me an extra 23% towards reducing the balance. Is compounding really that powerful?

A more relaxed, go with the flow kind of day planned today. Washing machine is on, think we're having another roast later, want to watch another film and generally chill out. Dh is at work but hopefully be finished mid morning.

Payday for dh Friday so I can make some more holiday/mortgage payments based on his overtime/bonuses.

Wishing you all a peaceful Boxing Day with much less pressure than yesterday!
