I hide stuff in cardboard boxes above wardrobes. I have them there all year so they dont just suddenly appear. And they go back in when I have wrapped them or they go in a black bags under the stairs at the back so they are already downstairs for xmas eve.

    I love froggys quiches :)

The quiche really is delicious. Froggy posted it on his thread a while ago but this is the recipe (hope I'm not breaching copyright!) :)

3 eggs, 150g low fat cottage cheese (i use normal, i think this is a SW recipe), salt and pepper, filling (bacon, ham, cheese, leeks, mushrooms, tomotoes, peppers). Grease ovendish and cook for 25-30 mins at 180-200C

I usually only put ham and tomatoes in mine but it is still amazing!

Have just submitted a claim to TCB as I applied for a Post Office CC (recieved today) and nothing has tracked. I believe I'm not the only one having problems with it.

Got my scan date for my growth scan, am glad that's all confirmed! Can't wait to see baby again!

Other than that I think I may be nesting

Oh, and DH has gone to see a man about a job!

Well done on getting to pay out on OP, I am rubbish at checking and only at £10 something after several months ! Think I missed the boat on that one.

I also applied for PO CC but not tracking, I think they tried to deliver today. I will wait til next week and then submit a claim (have diarised it).

Good luck for OH's job offers, and the next scan!

I am already back up to 95p on Onepoll, it seems better on there at the moment :)

I will let you know what happens with my claim, am hoping it will track as I have plans for the £50!

Thanks, hoping he gets shortlisted for latest application. I think he would like a career change but doesn't know what!

Got to payout on GTM today so am expecting a cheque for £30 to arrive in next 4-6 weeks. Also sold a DVD box set for about £23 on Amazon which I have posted today. I have sent Augusts OP today so that I can update mortgage balance after normal payment goes out on 1st and only need to find another £120 to achieve May 2029 and I should do this quite quickly between the above payouts. I don't want to send anything else out of the current account as I have 2 weeks off coming up and want some nice days out with DH and DD. :D

Bump is becoming noticably bigger on a daily basis. Have midwife next week and can't wait for my scan. I want to know how big he is.....or do I? Am getting a bit worried as to how he will get out!

I keep waking up at 4am! I was the same in my last pregnancy but it's leaving me so tired. Luckily I'm not working today.

Found some blackberries growing in the garden last night. I have no idea where they have come from but if I can save some money from them they can stay!

Was hoping DD and I could spend lots of time in the garden today but it's quite overcast and looks like it might rain!

Whilst trying to work out maternity pay I have come across some information that childcare vouchers are not deducted from SMP. I think I may have done myself out of this benefit though as I opted to be paid equally so will be paid occupational maternity pay during my 9 months leave. Alternative was for months 6-9 to be SMP only (but in theory I could have a free childcare voucher). Can anyone help or shed any light on this?

Closing date for DH's job application was on Monday and we gave my mobile number as contact as he was in the middle of changing numbers. They phoned a little while ago so I hope they've been able to get in touch with him in work. I have text him but no reply as he's probably really busy/got no reception. I want to know what's happening. I am sooooo impatient!

It's all very quiet on here today. Is it sunny everywhere apart from my house?

Have updated signature as when updating SS and experimenting I realised I have already achieved May 2029 as my MF date.

My goals for the rest of the year will have to be smaller ones due to reduction in income.

Sept OP £185 (new MF date April 2029)
    Oct OP £150
    Nov OP £150
Dec OP £150 (new MF date March 2029)

I think if we do have any spare cash after these OP's I will move it across to savings.

No news off DH and am in touch with a friend who works in HR to see what to do about my maternity pay.

Up to £39.25 on yougov - think i'll get to payout and not bother again! It has taken me about 2 years to get this far.
