Am totally lost here. No pants or socks suggestions please, or handkerchiefs.
What do you get for a bloke that doesn't seem to have any interests?
Anything that I could make easily? Cheap things to buy? Any ideas welcome.

Who is he? Brother, partner etc. This will make it easier to give suggestions.

I dont have that many interests either (apart from Scince and Technology and computers :j ). I'm well pleased if someone gets me a good book. The problem here is I'm quite fussy. Most people get me recipe books which I always appreciate. Or I just tell the wife which one's I'd like to read, failing that a voucher is almost as good.
Or a magazine subscription, but this is obviously a big kick in the purse!
Does he like music? I just picked up 'Demon Dayz' by Gorillaz at Sainsburys for 4.99 which I was quite pleased with.
The only other thing is to stay away from novelty items, I like things to have a purpose and a mechanical scary hand just doesn't do it for me.SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0 -
Does he like aftershave? Lidl some decent ones for under £5.
If he drinks, their wines are very good too.
Does he like chocs or cakes/biscuits etc? You could make somethig really special and present it to him an a nice tin/basket? It's all in the presentation and he may appreciate the amount of love you've put into a HM gift.0 -
Have a look at the gadgets section on www.play.com or www.iwantoneofthose.com or www.firebox.com
All have daft things on that might be of use. I normally find gifts for men on them. Play is the better site as there are no delivery charges on anything! Here I go again on my own....0 -

My DH is a nightmare to buy for - but 3 years ago I bought him a nail kit (clippers, that kind of thing) from Debenhams for about £10 and he uses it all the time so that may be an idea0

Just had a thought. If you can afford it how about a Gillette Fusion 5 Power razor? I've just had one from my wife and its brilliant. Its the first razor I have ever own that doesn't destroy my face when I use it. Only had it three weeks, but not had a sore face since. And the vibration thing works better than the old style one they made.
If he likes gadgets this might be a good choice!SIMPLE SIMON - Met a pie man going to the fair. Said Simple Simon to the pie man, "What have you got there?" Said the pie man unto Simon, "Pies, you simpleton!"0
