Hi cry for help and welcome to the forum.

Have a look a the page and at the top you'll see a button called "new thread", click on that and a window will open, type your post in there and submit, you've started your own new thread then. A few of the regulars are away at the moment so you may not get quite as many replies as normal. If your thread drifts down to page two, open it and submit a new post, that will move it up the forum again where more people can see it.

Hope this helps and good luck.

  • Hello everyone,

I have been meaning to ask for advice on here for many months now, but I was always to ashamed or stressed out to do so....
Argghhhh where do I even begin. I lease a cafe and am now in debt to my landlord for the sum of over £15,000 which is still mounting each day. The lease came to an end late last year but I am still in the property.

The landlord has sent me a notice stating that they will not be re- newing the lease, and have also sent in bailiffs to whci I am now paying a weekly payment that I am struggling to meet. I feel so helpless and scared as I do not know what to do.

I had a talk with the landlord months ago and they said that they would bring the lease to an end, but were open to talk about a new lease (on a shorter term, and not protected within the landlord and tenant act :( )

The notice ends in two months time and each day is a nightmare full of worry, sleepless nights etc. My whole family have forgotten what it feel like to laugh anymore...I just don't know what to do.

This is just the basics, it is all a lot more complicated, but I didin't want to go on and on.

Thank you all in advance for any good advice you can throw my way.

    Hi cry for help,
This would be much better on your own thread - see my post above for instructions on how to start a thread. Just copy and paste your text, no need to retype it.

    Good luck

  • Awww, thank you so much
I must be blind as I still can't see the bit you have mentioned :(

I am in tears even as I write this to thank you. I wasn't expecting a reply of any kind so soon. I am so used to wracking my brains out..

    Thank you once again.

    Hi there,

have a look for this button

Top left corner. Then just as Spoon says, copy and paste your post in and you would have started your own thread, where hopefully people can help you.

Good luck CryforHelp. We've all (most of us, anyway) found ourselves in a desperate state too, at some time or another. The fact that you are now facing up to your problems and asking for help is a very brave step - and the first on the road to recovery. Keep going; you won't always feel this wretched; you'll be OK in time. hope the posters on the new thread are able to give you helpful advice. x
