afternoon
fed up, boiler/hotwater problems continue and can't be arsed with it all. Boss didn't pay me on time...she forgot and now I think she has underpaid me by about £100 but can't work it out until I am back on saturday
Upside is that I have had a nice day out with B and my mum at alice in wonderland place...was fab and kept B entertained all day
This may be the drama queen in me but - I'd be concerned about cash flow... You've been saying the shop has been really quiet for a while now - is it possible she's having difficulty getting the money together to pay you?26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

I was about to say the same thing, did she forget or 'forget' IYSWIM. Especially since she under paid at the same time.
Daft cookery question - I got some steak with a sauce and it says to fry the steak for a minute each side then put in the oven with the sauce, would it be ok to george foreman grill it instead of frying it?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
I love the Alice in Wonderland place, been there a couple of times when my niece has been here. Great for kids under the age of 11 or so.
Ames - yes, using the George Foreman is perfect.

Just over half the essay completed today, phew. Couldn't do the practise exam though as I have to study the theory first - shouldn't be too hard though, there's tutorials online. I really want to do the course but Level 2 is likely to bore the pants off me.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Sal, I agree with Luc and Beanie, it doesn't sound good. There's forgetting as you've got a memory like a sploted spoon and then there's forgetting as the purse strings are tighter than tight.0

*cough* speaking as someone who has forgotten to pay someone on time in the past I would say give her the benefit of the doubt...although I do tend to agree with the general consensus of opinion.
I wouldn't say things are 'coming together' (i feel like thats tempting fate a little) but things do seem to be heading in the right direction.
