All my errands today were completed with time enough for me to sit and have a nice cup of tea in the coffee shop before work!
The parcel was a book, freebie from somewhere which looked interesting at the time but now actually looks quite awful so have listed it on greenmet, might read it if it doesn't sell before I finish the rest of my pile.
The bedframe is a shade too big to fit in the boot of my car, which is annoying, but its also too heavy for me to take out of the box and move on my own, so the boy is coming 'home' with me tomorrow after I finish work in the hope that we can get it in to his car....It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Bedframe is slightly too long for the boy's car so we'll be putting it in the car either tomorrow morning or tomorrow night and tying it down to take it over to the flat, in the mean time I've bought contents insurance £45....probably doesnt cover everything but it'll do for now, and when we properly sit and assess what we have and what needs covering we can reorganise it, as usual it paid off to go direct to the provider after checking it on the aggregator, £3 less cutting out the middle man, although no cashback from the provider and a few pennies from the aggregator for the original search.
Just need to print that in the morning before I start packing in earnest for the first few hours at my new home....now that does sound scary.
Quite possibly won't have any 'net access for a couple of weeks before they come to install it at the end of Jan, mind you I still have my mobile internet dongley thing somewhere so if I come across that I'll more than likely have limited access at the very least to make sure I can keep mystery shopping (sorry 'bout that Kayleigh). It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Mostly moved now. Still waiting for a grown up to come and tell me off and send me back to the spare bedroom. Not helped by the king size bed we bought feeling gigantic after sleeping in a single for most of the last 6 months. Still its nice to have my own space, although the lack of sofas is meaning the boy and I are going to bed by 2230 every night which is waaayyyy too early for my liking, but we ordered sofas at the weekend which ought to be delivered tomorrow morning and then 'net and cable telly will be in by the end of the month.
We're plodding along as far as sorting out other furniture goes too, couple of hanging rails are doing a good job as wardrobes but we really do need to get a chest of drawers of some kind as I'm getting bored of seeing his socks and undies on the floor at the end of the bed! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

You may also need a linen basket for when they are dirty too then scuba :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It's nice to here you are getting settled in your new place, and getting furniture sorted the sensible MSE way.DFD: 23/12/20100 -
Ahh but I have a wash basket, he doesnt like it coz its waist height and spongebob square pants shaped but it works
Feeling a little bit ill this morning...me and my credit card object quite strongly to being woken up at 7.30am to spend £340 before breakfast, still at least I can sit on the sofa now to post rather than the floor!
Might have a bimble in to town in an hour or so, see if I can find some cheap underbed storage boxes/bags to at least hide things for the time being. Mind I ought to go back to the old place and start packing the clothes out of the wardrobe since thats about all thats left other than the small empty fish tank and the large pink bag of shoes. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Old place completely and utterly emptied and the key handed back so am now completely at the mercy of the boy when I'm home. On the up side he's away for nearly a week and the bed is fab to starfish in. Virgin media are due to come and install broadband and telly on thursday morning - best get out of bed early again.
Couple of low fee, low reimbursement mystery shops booked for tomorrow, but overall I'll come on with a tax loss but not a cash loss so worth dragging myself out to get done.
Still 'enjoying' the sight of my work shirts not fitting properly so am challenging myself to walk to work at least once a week for the next 4 weeks, and then twice a week after than, that and cutting down on the cheeky "odd" pick'n'mix not to mention the sheer volume of junk food I tend to consume. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Credit card back to near scary levels at 41 months to pay off, so made a payment which brought it back down to 37 months *sigh* still at least this time around the spending has been on fairly important things like a suite! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Money appeared in my bank account from paypal, so have paid another £25 off the credit card and knocked another month off the repayment, so just 36 months now. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Home from another joyous evening at work, walked again so thats twice this week, pity am still scoffing so much junk when I get there mind but the three miles I'm walking is three miles more than I have done for the last 6 months.
Credit card statement checked again, looks like the cashback should be paid in march so as soon as it is I'll go see what I can get from either of my banks for a balance transfer card. I WILL get the card cleared within 18 months max - the original 12 month plan was waaay to ambitious given the recent furniture purchases. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Grr stupid intenet banking wont let me transfer my pay in to the joint account - need to walk in to town and withdraw it over the counter cross the road and pay it in to the joint account I guess. Meh best get dressed I suppose.
Things I've got done today include getting out of bed and cancelling my current phone contract. Got a nice little spreadsheet of costings for the handset I want in replacement which I'll need to go and update as soon as my contract is finished and I order the new one. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
