just a wonderment really on whether viewings are down because of streetview. In the olden days of 2009 before streetview got going, we would normally rely on a piccie before we drove round and found the real reason the place was a dump.
take this property in Thame, looks nice enough, keenly priced

however, i ruled it out on account of the streetview
if you pan left there is rubbish bags. if you pan right there are rubbish cars, clapped out Cavalier and Fiesta.

I think some parts of the UK had streetview a lot earlier so study your theory based on how the market performed in those areas and you might have an answer

Today I drove round to look at a house which I'd looked at on street view. I'd seen a bus depot on streetview and started thinking - heck what a dump. Well, there was indeed a bus depot but it was positioned in such a way as not to detract from the house round the corner. I've fallen in love with this house (am so fickle) even though I haven't viewed it yet!!0

Gosh you're very judgemental aren't you! I have one of those "clapped out" fiestas and just passed it's MOT, runs like a dream and just about all I can afford, I live in a perfectly nice street with no "issues" whatsoever."You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
I guess the answer is probably not.0

While Streetview and Google Earth are fantastic tools to use in house hunting, neither serves us well here.
In Streetview, we have a dung spreader directly opposite, hurling ordure in all directions, while Google Earth is so out of date, the stag hounds' followers are running amuck on our grass at the front.

we did ask streetview to remove our property as there was a pile of washing in the window and the shed roof was half torn off. looked a right mess and i didnt want to put buyers off.0
