Totally agree...why wouldn't you get a survey done?
I've got too much time on my hands...have a look at Zoopla / Rightmove - that same house sold the year previously for £182,000 - OUCH!

fred wests house was bulldozed. however, this was freds home, did someone buy it? i wouldnt want my home buldozed...surely there is financial loss to the family etc?0 -

It was an auction property. And if you get a survey done on every auction property you might bid on the costs can soon mount with absolutely nothing to show for it. 0
