Now that the filling recipe has been tried and tested there are other uses for it (or variations of it with mushrooms or sweetcorn etc)
Add some cooked diced carrots and celery, serve it with rice and call it Chicken Fricasse
Make some pancakes, roll some filling in them and bake in the oven to heat through
Make the sauce a bit thinner and serve with pasta as a sort of cheats Carbonara
and has already been said serve with rice and call it Chicken Supreme0 -

It would also be good as a sandwich filling (my sauce was quite thick). While I was waiting for other things to cook I kept nibbling at the pie filling and was tempted to put some in a slice of bread. I resisted as I want to leave room for the piece de resistance.0 -

I might have overfilled mine slightly.
