I have no sympathy for this woman. I have alot of sympathy for people who have borrowed money then at some point down the line circumstances mean they cannot meet payments.

I guess for 25k she is doing more than making the tea. Something like this perhaps http://www.totaljobs.com/JobSeeking/Administrative-Assistant_job48297666

No doubt these kind of people seek solace on these boards, after all the advice wrt bankruptcy and un-enforceability is second to non.

She still looks rough though, even with the designer togs.

Hopefully she'll get her rude awakening soon. Getting into debt to put food on the table for your children and getting into debt to buy designer fripperies are two totally different things. One deserves compassion, the other doesn't.

I loved this comment that was posted on the page.

Doesn't matter how much she spends, she's still pig ugly! Put a Gucci dress on Vanessa Feltz and it's still Vanessa Feltz that's under it looking like hell!!

I find the Bankruptcy rules a total cop out, watered down so called punishment by Nu-Labour..A recent thread over on the BR forum a poster owed income tax of £20k, VAT of £8k and various other bits of personal debt and yet they can include the VAT money in the bankruptcy.......Its !!!!!!!g theft as it was never their money to start with...That together with the fact that it only stays on their credit file for 6 years (London Gazette for life) they can then start again. One guy was recent looking for a mortgage after the six years and had something like £80k deposit....

The BR forum is nothing more than a Happy Clappy Church, they all say "we are not here to judge we are hear to help" well sorry but if someone on £22k a year has 9 Credit cards with debt of £60k, secured loans against their house , a £125k IO mortgage, oh and a £25 k loan for a BMW bought last December !!!!!! should they get ANY sympathy or advice?........

If someone has worked hard and circumstances beyond their control have dealt them a bad hand then yeah they will get my sympathy all the way, but not the f eckless.........

And why I'm on a rant why does Martin and the moderators still allow threads on Statutte barred Loans(taking money saving to an immoral low).......... I need a pear Cider.....(oh heck the fridge is empty)

I think some of you are missing an important point.
All these debtors or even people who remortgage their houses and have a spend up. They have lived the dream. Yes, ok it's safer to sit indoors all clever looking at a bank book. Whats the point being alive?
I've seen people go bankrupt after MEW their house and going to Africa on safari for years. At the end of the day the people get a council house and end up no worse off.

That Wag tart will marry some poor sap who will either pay her debts off or she'll go bankrupt and look for a rich fella.

I bet she's had more fun in the last 10 years than most of the savers for sure.

Should bring back debtors prisons for these folk.

Quite clearly committing theft and should go to jail for it.

What good would prison do? These women are a bit like drug addicts or alcoholics. They clearly have self-esteem issues (and possibly even mental health problems) and have seen a small problem escalate in to serious destructive behaviour. They need education more than anything else and probably some punishment to show them what they've done, but not prison. It's not really straightforward 'theft' when there's an equally dumb company feeding them more money without a care in the world.

The first one is £85k in debt right? She earns £25,000 a year, so about £2,000 gross a month. She should be declared bankrupt but also told that 15% of her paycheck for the next 23 years will be taken to pay the debt back. That'd wipe the smile off her face. She should obviously be encouraged to pay more off when she can, so selling all those bags, shoes and other trophies on eBay would be a good first step. Seems the obvious solution to me. She can also put the £500 she probably received from The Sun towards the debt too.

And like someone who has been caught speeding she should be able to reduce the debt by going to weekly lessons on personal finance until the debt is paid off and have her accounts checked by her teacher each and every week. The costs for this course would be met by the credit card and loan companies that were dumb enough to lend her money in the first place, so it's a win-win situation.

I feel a bit jealous of these women to be honest!

I wonder if I should take a single leaf from their books and just spend more on myself. Looks like a nice lifestyle.

Firstly, what is there to be jealous of and secondly what part of it looks like a 'nice lifestyle'? These women are insecure to the point of it pretty much ruining their lives. It's fairly evident that they have very low self-esteem, addiction issues, low intelligence and, I imagine, real hang-ups about their image and looks. The article is obviously written by The Sun reporter, so if you met these people in real life (if they actually exist) I don't think you'd find much happiness and contentedness in their souls and, one day, they'll wake up to this fact and cry all over their grotesque and vulgar clothing. I can't tell you how happy I am that my lifestyle is absolutely nothing like their's.

I couldn't disagree more. I bet if you spent 30 minutes with that first lady you would find a sad, insecure and unfulfilled individual. Anyone who fixates their life on one thing to the point of it being detrimental to their very being, whether that be drugs, alcohol, gambling or shopping, will be an unhappy person deep down.

I believe that budgeting and spending carefully gives you more happiness, because happiness is all relative. If you've been stuck in the desert for a few days and then come accross a stream you'll be the happiest you've ever been, so just apply that to the rest of your life. This woman is buy stuff because she's unhappy and trying to find happiness, not the other way around.

She's got no chance of being a WAG.

It is really disappointing to see that she just wants to be a kept woman. The most successful and respected WAGS have their own careers, its a shame she doesn't realise that.
