It seems to be those that havent shipped yet. Mine is still in the mail depot due to the weather and states its a 3GS. However OH's is yet to come and he won later, so we shall see.

Competition isn't being run properly and I would seem to have proof.

After the main part of the competition ended, there was what they call a mop-up draw for another month... I think that period is still going on now... where basically you could enter a further 3 times. It wasn't totally clear whether this was meant to be 3 times per day or 3 times during the whole period as the errant messages on the website seemed to indicate the former...

Anyway, so, I keep entering the competition on the first day of the 'mop-up' period and it keeps letting me enter where before it would have stopped me at 3. I end up getting 14 email confirmations in total. Proceeding on the basis of entry 3 times per day being what was allowed, I email the great GlaxoSmithKlyne about the fact that their website barred further entry on subsequent days stating "you have entered 3 times today" when I had not entered 3 times on that or any subsequent day. They finally respond in a not particularly apologetic and roundabout way with a response that amounted to "we have changed the message the website gives so that it doesn't say you have entered 3 times today anymore, but instead that you have entered 3 times for the period" or y'know something like that...

... but what was most interesting was what the GSK woman said next in the email. She said she had no record of any of my entries, as far as they were concerned I had not entered. This just seemed to confirm a long held suspicion I've had about unregulated competitions; that they're not fair for whatever reason whether it be a fix or just seemingly incompetence in this case.

Some may find it interesting to email GSK and ask whether their entries have been received and see what the response is. I sent pharmaceuticals finest a video of their own website proving that it would not let me enter any more times contrary to what they had said to me in the email and I have yet to hear a response from them.

That seemed disappointing at first but then I thought well, if this is the same company that can lie and say Ribena has Vitamin C when it has none or whatever, ignoring my exposing of their competition malfunction isn't that surprising.

I even considered the possibility of an FOI request as an experiment to verify whether the entries are/were being collected properly, although not arsed with that idea at present.

TBH ZED Lucozade set the competition up hoping people would go out and buy loads of Lucozade for codes, but most of us cottoned on you just need one.They won't give a monkeys, it's not like you are buying the product 3 times a day every day are you?

Nope nothing yet, just about to send off another email, tried calling Rob but keep getting voicemail!

Poor guy is probably getting bombarded & switched it off! lol :rotfl:

my friend too! Been emailing him every wee kday since last monday, no reply. However OH emailed him friday and he got the iphone 4 email. Feel sorry for myself, lol!
