  • Well hello

I still have to inventory all my stuff, but it is scattered all around the house and I have limited mobility at the moment!! This is going to be a huuuuuge task!

I will make a determined effort to get it on the board - Im a bit ashamed at the amount of stuff I have to be honest:o

I dread to think of the ££££'s it has cost me!! But on a positive - Im now saving!!!
  • Just a few UU to report...

German handmade soap 'Myrrhenol' - a gift from friends. Was very nice but not overly keen on the the smell and stung lady bits! I persevered, used up one bar, have 4 more to go!

Lidl roll on deo, the cream coloured one. WIBA - yes, I like the smell and the price, will actually detour out of my way to buy this - sad I know!

Lidl 'Iseeree' hand cream, WIBA yes. Mum gave me this and I was very impressed with it. Has SPF 4, no mineral oil, reasonably priced I believe, and absorbs well - will probably go back to it when I've used up all my stock.

Roshydoshy you can have a look at http://www.perfume-parlour.co.uk/ to replace your lost perfume oil. I still have about 10 perfume oils on my dressing table from my Dad/brothers many trips abroad, so I haven't actually ordered from them - but this site has had alot of good reviews on MSE.
No buying unnecessary toiletries 2014. Epiphany on 4/4/14 - went into shop to buy 2 items, walked out with 17!

  • :j:j Another UU! Body Shop Mango Shower Gel - this was one of the items I got when I shamelessly abused two Telegraph vouchers earlier in the year when there was also a BOGOF on - got two Body Butters and two shower gels for a total spend of £8.50 I think it was. :DWIBA? Absolutely - probably the next time there is a Telegraph voucher! Lathered brilliantly, didn't leave my skin dry and itchy and to my utter astonishment smelt fantastic! I sometimes find that mango scented products can smell a bit like dog-slobber (Yes, I know!) but this one certainly doesn't! I must admit though I couldn't justify spending £6 on it, regardless of how good it is!

I have a Botanics one to go on to next - bit wary as I'm sure that someone or another said they'd just used one that they really didn't like? Oh well, we'll see!

This Sunday, there is a voucher and its vaild for a week (not a day like last time!)

Dignity thanks so much - must make sure my OH gets a copy then (He's a subscriber so the voucher is even better value for me!)

One UU to report today - Dove GoFresh green tea & cucumber (I think?) Deodorant - WIBA? Well in fairness I was paid to take these away before - it was when there was the glitch involving a voucher, plus BOGOF offers - I ended up with 4 cans of the stuff without parting with a penny. On that basis, it was perfectly adequate, but I have to say I still don't feel for a moment that it would be worth paying the current market price for. It's a very small can for your money, and doesn't seem to work any better than any other deodorant. A can of Mitchum is next out of the cupboard to try.

I had a change of mind on the shower gel front as well - when I went to the cupboard this morning for the Botanics one I realised that I had a half used bottle of Crabtree & Evelyn La Source sitting there, so I pulled out that and it's matching body lotion to go on to next. The Boots Rosehip Body butter is now back in the cupboard for the time being. :D

I got the same deal and totally agree, this product is most non-descript and insignificant, does the job but no better or more appealing than a cheapie supermarket own-brand. No way would I bother to buy it again except if it was a bargain price.

I was actually quite disappointed - I've liked a lot of Dove products I've tried and was looking forward to the chance to try the deodorant, but it really was a complete let-down. I'm glad it wasn't just me, Bronnie!
