carrots, onions and potatoes

I'm a huge fan of soup for ingrediants like this. It is so easy to make (you can't go wrong basically), you can make it as thick or thin as you like and it freezes very well.

Just add bouillion powder for the stock or I love Oxo Italian stock cubes for another dimension of flavour.

For variations when you defrost it, you can add anything you have in the fridge when you warm it through (left over meats, sweetcorn, other veg etc).

Sorry if thats a bit boring but it's my old time favourite.

Carrots do well chopped up and frozen (ready to throw in anything you want) and so do onions

Potatos are easy they go with so many things

Mash is always great (as someone said then add some carrot to the mash or even carrot, potato and butternut squash). Carrots are quite versatile too, you can either grate it and add to any mince dishes or you can chop it and add to things like lasagna (vegitarian or meat) with courgettes etc.
