Wow- that must have been scary- my mum had a neighbout who one day woke with a scream so loud that my mum in bed three doors down could hear her. She had a brain hemorage too and went from being a mother of 3 to wheelchir bound and needing to move back in with her parents, split up from her partner, wasn't able to feed herself, at the time I was a teenager and to watch something like that happen for really no reason at all is freaky and when your that age and getting very bad migraine headaches...so I know how you feel!

Found a few links for you:

Oh god Jennie that's awful, i'm not sure what's worse tbh..not good. I hate thinking about it as she was such a wonderful woman and it is very scary tbh. I miss her lots :(

Thank you so much for the links i will have a look later as off out shortly.

Just been local play area for the first time in the holidays, had 3 older ones so could actually sit with my friend and chat with a cuppa instead of jumping round with them all! When i got in though i just felt tired again and dizzy (maybe the bright lights?), i am ok to kind of carry on but know i am not right in myself. I saw someone i hadn't seen for ages so nipped over to her, she said i looked well but tired to which i said i felt it! I then saw a mum from school who sat with us and was asking me about my job etc and the children i have as sees me around but we don't really talk much and i just felt awful, like she could tell i was so drained! then the owner came over and said she had, had lots of enquiries and could i drop a card in as she had lost mine when she decorated..i said yes but again just hope people think i can't cope! which reminds me another pill to take!

Aaanyway! off to get hair done shortly so can sit for a few hours and relax reading!

    Thanks again x

Well todays update! Not feeling great i have to say. Went to bed at 10.45pm last night, woke at 10am this morning when dh got up for work and fell asleep again till 11.30am as dd was still asleep so a really good lay in today..was wide awake when up, had a shower and cooked some breakfast/lunch for me and dd and sat and watched a prog with her for 40 mins. Got up to do some paperwork but felt tired again already and struggled to do half an hour wthout really having to concentrate. Sat down and watched some more tv as had no energy and dh called to see if i wanted to go for a drink and i said no as felt really heady again by this point. When he got home i sat here then burst into tears as just feel drained still..really can't pin my finger on what it is but just feel like my head is all blocked up. Iam also upset as hate sitting doing nothing and get frustrated..still sat here now.

Dh said to call nhs direct but have just done an online checker and it says they need to call me as nothing i clicked on came in with what i have..can i just ask what they say/do or am i better waiting till monday and going to the docs again?

    Thanks

Viruses and inner ear infection can be very nasty and take some time to shift....The best thing is rest but if you think you are detoriating then i would give NHS direct a call, they can but advise you on what to do...

As well as it being a diagnosed virus (which in itself will leave you feeling weak and tired) lack of sleep cannot be sorted in just one nights sleep. Its something that needs to be caught up on bit by bit over a good few nights and is not easy (spoken from experience) you can often find you get so far and then....cannot sleep for love nor money! Insomnia! It takes a while to regulate your system once its fallen out of kilter so don't give up just bear in mind it takes time and patience.

Got up this morning..not a great nights sleep as was really hot then really cold, woke as Dh not home and turns out he had been taken to hospital so stayed semi awake for him getting in and then went back at about 5.30am..unsettled sleep again! Woke this morning and felt fine in shower and as soon as up i'm dizzy again, head slightly
better but was yesterday till mid afternoon.

NEH thanks. Yeah feels more and more like my ears tbh and it's horrid.

Jenny thanks, i know it will take a while to get through and i guess i am being impatient but due to me never being ill it is frustrating. I have had 7 of the pills now and feel absolutley no different and as soon as i am up properly i am back to the same feeling..should it be dying down a bit? going to call the docs in the morning and try and get seen just to be sure as a diagnosis over the phone is all good and well till they have checked me properly i will not be 100% happy.

Thanks i'll update tom after docs hopefully.

Good idea to try and get seen, but ear problems don't get better overnight!

There are different causes for what you describe and people respond differently to the different types of medication as well.

My sympathy! Hope your DH is OK too.
