    Thanks for the replies.

Well yesterday i never seemed to pick myself up all day, it got to about 2pm and i just felt dead on my feet, said to dd i just felt off..i think the best way to describe it is as me just feeling dizzy and unbalanced..like you do when you are really overtired. I sat down for dinner with dd and dh last night and told dh i was going to book a docs apt in the next couple of days if i still felt like it to which he said i looked drained but didn't want to say! i felt a bit tearful as had so much to do but couldn't really be bothered..i wondered if it was my eyesight as was sat looking at something on the wall which seemed quite blurry but not sure it is eyes or sleep loss as am ok vision wose today?! I made the mistake of sitting down at 5.30pm and fell asleep till 8.30pm, i then did some housework and went to bed at 10.45pm..didn't drop off like i normally do as had slept earlier but was tired when i woke for work at 5.15am this morning and when the kids get here i am working till 6pm. Felt awful last night as had left dd to just watch tv which she was fine with but felt very guilty (dh works evenings).

Will see how i go today..unfortunately there is no sight of a rest till saturday as covering for someone at work and got kids all week, dh is away at the weekend and dd is a really good sleeper so will hopefully get a lie in sunday!

As for being S/E yes i agree always something to think about which isn't good..loads of paperwork to catch up on and tax to do..nothing urgent but still always there! Rest is just the stress of the house with dd being very messy at the mo and other bits it is never ending. We have our old cleaners back on friday just to catch up on some bits and see how they get on again as the holidays have been manic.

I'll update later see how the day goes!. x

Your mentioning symptoms there- I don't like to say what they are for as I am not medical. But please mention the dizziness, fatigue and blurry vision to your doctor. They could be related to tierdness but they could also be for something else- nothing deadly btw, but symptoms and ones I didn't want you to miss outon getting help for!

Just wondering if you take alot of caffiene too- I went through/am just getting past a few weeks where my insomnia got bad and I still had things I needed to get done/do and resorted to caffiene. I was taking way too much and although things did get done, my body felt like a wreck- my legs ached, I felt almost unable to stand up in the morning without clutching the wall, headache, dizziness.... just wondering if you had been taking anything regularly and then stopped instead of slowly withdrawing? Could also be a cause.

    Hi Jennie,

Thanks for the reply. Erm other than the odd cup of tea and odd glass of coke not any other caffeine i can think of. Funnily enough i picked up one of those little caffeine shot things in spar the other day and said to dh maybe i should start taking them to keep me feeling more awake as such..but no nothing like that! Today i have felt better and not sure why as not much more sleep but deff more than i have had. Dh is out working late tonight so it is always my eve to catch up. I have felt better as in not sick but still a bit wobblyish when walking which isn't good..will call docs tom and see what they say if i can get in.

Thanks again..bath in a min, limiting it to an hours tv then making myself go to bed at 9pm at latest!

Good luck- the TV limit is a good idea, there are theories on electrical devices interfering with our brain electical currents and adding to stress, hormone inbalances and insomnia/deep sleep so if you can manage it for a few weeks you'll be able to report back I hope!

Think the caffiene thing tends to only right a wronged system if you take loads of the stuff (more then the shot drinks) but sometimes taking even a shot drink can out you in a position where you don't really feel alert yet cannot sleep- caffiene is wierd! But you don't seem to be reliant on it so it doesn't feel like an issue from what I can see.

Hope you get somewhere with this- if your GP turns up nothing (and you may need to demand for blood tests if your GP is anything like mine) then maybe relaxation and sorting out your life-work balance could help.
Otherwise for the short term there is a pill called Red Kooga (comes in a normal does and a max dose) which I sometimes use but you must take it in the morning as it can keep you awake at night. Its a bit like caffiene but a more naturally sourced type (caffiene tends to be manmade alot of the time). And so doesn't tend to land you with jitters or anxiety or headaches when you choose to stop taking it. But its not something you should really take every day, just the odd 2 days a week when you really think you may need it.

    Thanks for the reply Jennie.

Just did long reply and lost it so i'll shorten!

Went to bed at 9pm but by the time dd had faffed about it was gone 9.30 when lights were out. I got woken at 2.30am by my mobile and the battery dying so got up to find the charger..back in bed at 2.45am. Realising dh was not in yet i tried to sleep but was i guess waiting for him to come in as worried he was later than normal. 3am he gets in and comes up, my stomach was hurting so he got me some paracetamol and i had that and tried to go back to sleep..dh telling me what he had done and why he was late and that he had hit the car at work..sigh our poor car! He went off to sleep and i lay there till at least 4ish then the alarm went off at 5.15..yawn!

So no the best nights sleep but i feel better today if not normally tired!

Well was just in the kitchen and felt dizzy again so called the doctors..no appointments today at all. She then gave me the 13th at 8am to which i said i couldn't as would be on the school run, the next one is the 16th? ridiculas. The surgery operates from 2 diff ones and both full and apparantly that's it. Not sure what to do now as feel that the 13th is way off..going to call them back i think and just explain whats wrong but tbh feel like im wasting my time due to them just prob saying it's a virus or something..grr.

Thats an inner ear problem- hope the pills work out for you, do you think thats what caused your fatigue? did the doctor say? Was thinking of something else (but am no medic so don't want to say!!). If its not gone in 2 weeks do go back but hopefully it will be gone by then!

Hi thanks for the reply. No idea r/e the tiredness but i'm now thinking it's due to me just working 24/7 which as of next week should die down when the kids are all back at school.

l just said i felt dizzy, head feeling like it is all bunged up! feeling sick on and off and unbalanced..kind of just not with it which he said it was a virus called?..can't remember! but yeah it's a ear/balance type thing! Last night i was lying in bed and suddenly my ears felt all funny, like my head was going to explode..really scared me and i sat up and it went. Yesterday i was so paranoid it was my eyes due to the blurry vision and now i'm thinking ears blocked? I took a tablet last night, they are called 'Prochlorperazine' and just took one now and feel a bit better already but will see what happens. Get paranoid with head things as hubbys mum died suddenly of a brain hemmorage after feeling a bit tired and although i don't want to jumpt to conclusions it is one thing i don't take any chances with.

Wow- that must have been scary- my mum had a neighbout who one day woke with a scream so loud that my mum in bed three doors down could hear her. She had a brain hemorage too and went from being a mother of 3 to wheelchir bound and needing to move back in with her parents, split up from her partner, wasn't able to feed herself, at the time I was a teenager and to watch something like that happen for really no reason at all is freaky and when your that age and getting very bad migraine headaches...so I know how you feel!
