Back later to check you're all behaving yourselves (and wiggling, of course:D).
Happy Friday everyone

Maybe staggering rather than wiggling soon though.:rotfl:0 -
I've managed 2 and 3, not sure how long I can maintain this rate for but it's an excellent start to the month. Only 8 to go to reach my target with 27 days to fit them in. I feel positively virtuous:j
(plus I am properly skint this month so don't really have too much choice!)
Well done so far to everyone else, I'm trying to keep up with this thread but you're all so chatty..................:D0 -
Well this it totally unheard of - I realised this morning that I haven't spent since Sunday, and I haven't spent today either, making it 5 in a row!!!! Never before done in our house
This is greatly due to the garden producing lots of food, a steady supply of homebrewed wine, and working too much to spend money. Might have to go food shopping soon tho, DH is starting to drop hints about wanting some meat in his meals - he's been really good but I know he thinks its not real food if its just veggies!!
Anyway, that makes 3 so far for me this month. Sunday is definately a spend day - taking the horse to the local show - eeeek!! Hoping not to fall off in front of all my friends!! Will try not to spend tomorrow - will be possible if i can dig some meat out from the depths of the freezer
Loved your post Dopey - I know many many men like that!!Trying to jump back onto the moneysaving wagon .... :cool:0 -
Hello all!!!
Unfortunately was a spendy day today, had to swop a curtain pole cos it was too short, & obviously the longer one cost me more, so i bought a spanner at the same time, as i had to borrow one from the "man that did" yesterday to take the radiator off & i needed to put it back on.
Still i ate out of the freezer, even though i was craving rubbishy fatty takeaway & i finished off a bottle of facewash & fetched one out of my stash, am loving the fact that i no longer buy toiletries till all of the old ones are gone :A
Am feeling very proud of my DIY battle scars, as all my stuff is done now, just waiting with great anticipation for the units to come :j
Will spend tomorrow, as off to my friend's for a local music thingy for the weekend, but will buy some beer that should last 2 days, so am hoping for Sunday... fingers crossed!

For one moment there, BDINI, I thought you had drunk the facewash...... :rotfl::rotfl:
Well done on finishing all the DIY, it must be really exciting waiting for the kitchen units.
Hope you have a great time at the music thingy:D

*Have you seen THIS THREAD with lots of scumdiddly-umptious recipes  Don't know if I've posted it before, but perhaps you could add it to the list in the first post Spoon?
Will do with pleasure, BigMumma, I've had a peek and it looks delicious. Problem is, I can insert a link but have no idea how to rename it with the thread name:o:o If you could tell me how to to that then I'll be a happy spoon:D
What is a treat for a pigwit? Never had them, or hammies--well, nowt but fairground goldfish up till we adopted Iggie & now Pup. I have to confess I'd never considered smaller creatures as being at risk, but then I guess places like the RSPCA shelters would dispute thatCan't understand why or how two-legged things with supposedly superior brains can inflict torment on another living creature for fun, but I know what I would like to do to them if I had the chance
Then again, presumably that doesn't make me any different to them
....unless..........they have to wear masks of politicians faces & then we'd be justified in claiming self defence, cuz it's only what they do to us :rotfl:
Hear hear:T:T:T
Apologies for my rather..I'm usually the quiet one in the corner with a small glass of sherry when we go on our little soirees
errrrrrr.........;););)
