well today was a day of purchasing. Been saving for curtains and linings and purchased them on the interweb today. Tomorrow won't be a NSD either, off shopping for fleeces, hi vis jackets for school run and pj's.. all essentials but still so annoying i'll lose another NSD

solventsoon? How do you keep up with all this - marvellous work :) thank you!

Decided to stay in today - no petrol anyway. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all from hoard. So no spend for me - that's 2 down and 8 to go. Tomorrow will be a biggy though as I'm off to Mr Ts and will fill up the car. Hang on to the credit card.

But hey think of the the points. Oh forgot to mention I had a voucher for the garden centre - might buy (vouch) myself a plant tomorrow - cheer me up for the weekend. Chickens also came up trumps and laid 2 eggs so breakies on them. Good luck everyone.
  • Ok so Dopey had a cunning plan...........

write VERY concise shopping list and send Mr Dopey to two shops, quite complicated for a man with the shopping skills of a tree, but needs must.

wrote list, issued to Mr Dopey with bags and instructions which involved checking some prices in shop 1 and making decision there and then before moving on to shop 2. By the way, I do this every bl%%dy week in the year so it isn't rocket science by a long chalk.

he phoned 3 times in the first 30 mins asking me to make decisions!!!!

Eventually returned with about 80% of list, looking like he's just climbed everest single handed with no shoes men!!!!!!

however I did manage to preserve my NSD while he was footering about being a trolley dolly!
