    Good morning everyone -

First off - (((((hugs))))) to LFV, so sorry to hear for your FIL's passing, thinking of you all at this sad time.

BDINI - how lovely of your old pals to treat you, the world isnt such a bad place after all! It shows you how much they value your friendship!

Got # 16 yesterday, so exceeded target. Just trying to figure out how I can squeeze another!
    Prospective spends:
Today - need to get milk
Tomorrow - I've lunch with the girls ( postponed from last week)
Thurs - going to visit my friend, this involves train fare and a bottle of wine as she's making lunch for me.

I reckon if I buy the wine & milk today, buy my train tkt online and put tomorrow's lunch money aside I could nab another for tomorrow and Thurs.

See, this challenge really gets you using your grey matter! ;)

    Have a lovely day everyone!:)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • Hello

I bought a book yesterday and weakened to buy some food on night shift last night:o. But...I've reigned it back in today with NSD No.20/22

Not planning to spend tomorrow so will hopefully manage one more :)

Enjoy the last couple of days !
  • P.S.

BDINI those lovely men at you're pub are so sweet!

....The one thing I enjoyed about this challenge is not so much the not spending money but the way it made me stop and think whether I needed to spend money....
It's good isn't it :D..best ever Challenge I have ever set for myself this one!

Speaking personally--& pre-nsding--if I'd waited to buy the 'wine' on Thurs, I'd have found some other stuff that I couldn't resist & a fiver for the original purchase would have ended up costing me fifteen quid :wall: & that's how this Challenge saves me money too. I know that makes me sound weak-willed & in most other areas I'm not, but food bargains are my Achilles Heel :o

No 19 for me, & on the radio today I heard it's National Ask A Silly Question Day AND Drink As Much Beer As You Can Day so for my participation, I'm going to ask Swanny if they'll be joining in on one or other too :rotfl:
