If you know how much you need for Thursday, then tuck that away in a pocket of your purse/bag tomorrow - hence Thursday is an NSD ;)

What a sensible idea! Why didn't I think of that! Thanks cw, I'll do just that! :D

LfV, thinking of you and your family at this time. Take care xxx

D/Debit did indeed go out this morning, so on my way out of work I picked up the bananas I forgot to get (or allocate funds for) on Saturday - a massive additional spend of 30p for 3 pieces of fruit (including the penny change and 2p staff discount that go into my sealed pot)

May not have reached my NSD target today, but I totally smashed a different one......

Monday is weigh-in day for me, and this morning I must have looked like our little frog hopping on and off his lily leaf as I hopped on and off the scales to be sure the reading stayed the same. Last week I was 9st 8.75lb, and my calorie allowance allows for a 0.5lb loss each week (I prefer to do slow and steady as there's more chance of it actually staying off afterwards). So I hoped to be at 9st 8.25lb this week even though my food diary showed over 900 calories uneaten (the equivalent of an extra 0.25lb) as I'd also had - but not been able to record - a few sweet bits and pieces I'd had no way of weighing (and didn't know calorie content of even if I could have). But scales showed a totally mind-blowing loss of 3lb - taking me down to 1.25lb below my target weight !!!

Might sound strange, but I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'd planned to get to 9.5 stone then aim to maintain that for the rest of the year - followed by a change to a slow loss again in January to get me down to 9 stone. But I've had a series of these unexplained losses in the last 5 weeks - and instead of losing a total of 2.5lb I've actually lost 9lb  Bit worried about OHs reaction when I next see him, as he likes 'women with a bit of meat on them' and doesn't like 'skinny bints'..... his words not mine.

Had anticipated a loss of 3-3.5lb between the last time I saw him and the earliest I may see him again (hate this extended holiday of his, which came right up the back end of the two of us having other commitments) which may have been little enough for him to not fully notice, but think he's hardly going to miss a loss of well over half a stone !!! I'm now a stone and a half lighter than I was when we met up again at the end of March, and I'm pretty certain he was having 'issues' with the fact I'd already lost a stone despite knowing it was for health reasons (my back problem) :o
