    :o
Well done on getting tickets, im well jealous as Ian Rankin is one of my fav authours. (even though I ain't read one of his books in a while, keeping the spends down. lol)

Do you know if hes touring at the mo???

Not sure, Chris, he's a local lad from here in Edinburgh as you know, and he's a keen supporter of our libraries. I'll check it out for you, though I suspect ( see what I did there?) it may be a one off. I like his books too, cant beat a good crime:rotfl: Have you got a library near you? I re-discovered mine this year, it's brilliant and has saved me a fortune! ( Except when they sell off their old stock:o)

you will always be rich enough to be generous.
  • I'm raising my glass & humming Wild Thing (cos i think that was Jim Reeves?) in honour of your birthday Spoon!!!!
Hope you had a fantastic day & the grocery shopping wasn't too painful :D

. Sorry if there was too much detail in my previous post, just felt I had to blurt it all out.

LFV, there is never too much detail if it's what helps you feel better, please keep talking if it helps you get through it, as has been said so many time before we are here to listen (((((big hugs)))))

Have to declare myself OUT of the challenge for September. Have managed about 3/16 NSDs, and that was fluke really. Get paid tomorrow so really going to try and wait till October before spending anything, but don't think I can contribute much to the challenge, sorry xx

Goodgirl, of course you can contribute to the challenge, you managed 3 days which is brilliant, that's 3 days where no nasty shop till had your money!!
We all started small when we joined the challenge & built up to the big figures. The important thing is that you keep posting & shout when things get difficult, there are loads of people here to share their tips & experiences, which helped me enormously!

Oh & number 12 :j for me please birthday girl Spoon
    February NSD challenge 5/15

....I'm more a Jim Reeves fan than Andy Williams - will that be OK?:D:D
Corse tizz--it's your B'day so your choice. I'm not adverse to a bit of country & love Dixie Chicks & Reba MacIntyre, but you can't beat a bit of Wayward Wind & Cheating Heart can you :p

AS BDINI says, please don't feel you have to leave; you are most welcome to stay for a chat if nothing else x

That sounds like a very special day Jinty & as long as YOU had a good time, that's all that matters isn't it? Sometimes I think the World is so intent on getting to tomorrow before today has had a chance to be, that so many of Mother Nature's Treasures are trampled in the stampede :o Worse still, too many folk think they have to spend a king's ransom in order to fully enjoy...anything--pub, theme park, book shop ;) Obviously my formative years must have been around the same time as The Age of Aquarius costumed-smiley-031.gif & going to San/Fran with a dandelion in yer lug-hole :rotfl:

I have a feeling that if we all met up in the 'real' world we'd be carted off wearing those coats with super-long sleeves by the men in white coats if any of our 'virtual' weekend outings are to go by :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:....
