Morning all :hello:
Just popping on to declare 10 for yesterday :j
Saturday wasn't one unfortunately, because i was inspired by Cheryl's finds to do my grocery shopping in Mr M's just before closing & i now have a freezer stuffed full of whoopsied bread, pies & fresh fish :T
Spent a little more than i'd planned, but now won't have to buy anything other than fruit or milk for absolutely ages, so very pleased!
Off to work now  have a good day everyone!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Ahoy there, me hearties, Captain Dirty Charity Rackham at your service! My friends call me DC.....but you can call me........Dirty.......!
Well, some land lubbing, fish gutting swab scuppered the forums last night, so our ship put into harbour overnight, but now I am up and away with a yo-ho-ho to report I am now on 7 NSDs! Splice the mainbrace, keel haul a few land lubbers and away we go.....a rollocking band of pirates, we, who, tired of tossing on the sea, are trying to catch some NSDs, for the month of September....One life - your life - live it!0 -
NSD No 5 for me from Sunday please Spoon. :j
Won't be one today but at least 2 more this week hopefully.
If i can concentrate better that is, seem to be a little distracted the last week or so.0 -

hey all,
KeriGT HI! I am going to count direct debits, purely because i dont have many and then i can do my spending on them days to.
Today is not going to be a NSD today, got petrol and grocerys to get today, hopefully no treats though. So not counting today, I will have 5 NSDs to get in 10 days, hopefully that is reachable. Baring in mind i started this challenge on the 8th of this month, im quite pleased with myself, havent noticed much difference in my bank account yet, but its certainly making me think twice about buying things.
I missed out on pirates day yesterday as I couldnt get on here, but it looked like u all had fun!
SO including today, you all have 11 days to get ur NSD's in... thats easy!0 -
Good morning everyone!
Saturday and Sunday were NSDs for me, bringing me up to 12 NSDs - woo hoo!solventsoon wrote: »Anyone up for a bit of pirating???
If so, spoon is reborn as Mad Dog Bonney
Part crazy, part mangy, all rabid, I'm the pirate all the others fear might just snap soon. I can be a little bit unpredictable, but a pirate's life is far from full of certainties, so that fits in pretty well. Arr! Arr me hearties!!!:D
Geebee put this link on the NTN thread, so if anyone wants to join in and have their own pirate name, have a play:D:D

Just a quick hello to everyone now, got to get working. Will be back later with an update.

LMAO yeah, was it that big a give away? Will be saving for the 500 Enfield Classic. In my defence I have been poorly, right now I'm dr*ving a c*r (I can hardly bring myself to type it) because I'm just not reliably well enough to ride... At least not a serious bike anyway, the ickle tiny weighs-nothing Enfield would still be do-able. I used to have a Suzuki GN250 as a stand-by bike, for days when I couldn't hold the leviathan of an RF900R upright at the lights. I loved that GN, bless her. Eventually though no amount of gun gum would get her through another MOT, it was a sad day indeed, may she rust in peace. The RF900R had to go to fund the c*r... bitter? Moi? Oh h*ll yes!!
When I looked around for something to replace the GN I realised the only real contender was the Enfield. I wanted 20-30 brake horse power and no noticable weight. I found a lot of bikes that were pretending to be bigger things, almost appologetically (the Yamaha 535 Virago, the Kawasaki 250 Ninja) but nothing that was meant to be what it was... Except the Enfield... It's utterly gutless and it does not give a flying fork!
So, laugh all you like, I am getting an Enfield and I don't care! It positively demands red lippy and a headscarf (and can be fitted up with a nice Watsonian sidecar just like Wallace and Gromit if needs be) ROFL :rotfl:
Right I'm off to eBay to oggle headscarfs (no buying though, today is gonna be an NSD... probably). :money:
No laughing from me ... don't tell anyone, but an Enfield was my first guess probably because I've considered buying one too! I have to agree with you about the Virago and the Ninja 250R - they're both pretending to be big bikes, but what you see is what you get with Enfields - there's no pretense with them what-so-ever, I just love them for their honesty!:money: Proud to [STRIKE]be dealing with[/STRIKE] have dealt with my debts! :money:

Good morning everyone - you lot are bloomin mental! Just been reading the pirate posts - what a laugh !!!:rotfl:
I can declare #11 for yesterday, delighted!!!:j:j No NSD today as have done a mega supermarket trawl this morning. Went to Tesco and got a £30 shop with £10 off coupon, then Asda for sugar as it is cheaper than MrT, then Morrisons cos they've got 600G of Cheerios on BOGOF plus 6 Heinz beanz for £2. Pleased to report that my cupboards and freezer are very well stocked!
Cheryl - re Muller yogurts - Mr T has BOGOF on the corners ATM if that's any help!Well done on the weight loss, thta's fantastic but well deserved cos I know you worl really hard at it!
My chicken casserole and apple crumble was lovely and I made enough to freeze, so I have 3 meals of casserole and 2 of crumble nestling happily in the freezer. How smug I feel when I'm organised enough to do this!;) Kerri - I've kept some for you - just needs warming up!
The window cleaner and the bin washer man are due this week so their money is in a little jar together with my hairdo money for Wednesday. I also have a lunch on Wed with the girls from work, which I'm really looking forward to so I've set aside money for that and I still have my "fly" tenner.;) So provided I dont spend anything other than that I am on target for another two tomorrow and Wed. Its all good, folks!:D
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0
