Ended up buying the Pulse Mini on Tmobile. There was no way i was getting a teenager a contract and opening up the potential to run up a huge bill. This way he gets unlimited texts provided i top him up with £10 a month and as a bonus there was 6 months of Internet thrown in. Its Android so he is having fun downloading silly little apps.
When i used the double up vouchers it was effectively only £40, not too bad for a smart little phone.0
