All my views are my monkey's views. I give advice on behalf of my pet monkey and do I give banana related advice. All my posts are my monkey's opinion and no-one else's.
  • I have a "51" plate 307 XSi and I have to say its not the most well built car in the world. The interior is very poorly put together and it has a series or knocks and bangs. Also I had it die on me completely at 70 mph-not nice.
HOWEVER! Maybe the newer plates are better made than the older makes....? Have you googled it and read the owners reviews?

  • The 307 is a dog. Sorry, but thats the bones of it. Your dealer wouldn't even be talking to you with a smile and a warm cup of coffee on a negative equity trade in if it wasn't a 307 you were looking at.

In short, the residuals on them are appauling (you wait and see what its worth in 3 years) the engine is as rough as they come, the build quality is like something from a chimp workshop and they go wrong. Lots.

My dad has a garage, and he services a few of these. Crap.

Oh, and wait untill it spits a clutch (common). Do a mystery call and ask what the bill would be....make sure your sitting down though.

    Avoid.
  • 307 = dog
