Going on holiday, should I feel bad?

    September/October is the best time to go to Italy - Not too hot and not too crowded - enjoy it!

    Just go and enjoy yourself. You can start back on your DF journey when you return. It's all booked and happening so don't torture yourself, it's not worth it.

    I love Italy and only wish I were going too :rotfl:

    Oi! If you had booked a holiday with money you didn't have, and ran up more debt, THEN you should feel bad, but this is money that you've claimed back.

    Not only have you stopped your debts going up, you've been paying them off at an incredible rate. Treat yourself, you deserve it!

    Ive alwsys been on holiday on my own! Its fab ( you can always find someone to salsa with is my experience!) Although Ive now got OH, and dont think hed be too keen on me jetting off alone, mind you Id want to take him and show him my fave place anyway.... I hope to make him live there with me one day ;)

    on cheapflights! Although its probably gone now, as I think it departed this morning. Didnt include any accomodation, spends, rum money, souviners, jerk chicken.....

    Im sorry I cant discuss this any more _pale_

    Yes you should go, and with a clear conscience. You will come back rejuvenated and full of renewed enthusiasm for debtbusting! Besides, it's easy to spend modestly in Italy, pizzas and pasta dishes are not expensive. Enjoy yourself :)

    Enjoy !! Im in a cr4ppy situ at the moment and im off to spain fr a cheap week in October. You need the break or you will go mad.

    Gosh, thanks everyone, I feel a lot better now. Going on Tuesday morning to Calabria, half board in a hotel with a mate. I can't wait!
