itplus

Has anyone switched to itplus and their 5.25 line rental? https://www.itplc.com

If so can you answer me this - is it still possible to call via 1899 and 18866 (not the 0800 numbers with the other pricelist)?

They forbid it in their Ts + Cs.
  • No you can't, it is totally against their T&C :)

Are you asking has anyone tried using 18866/1899 with this telephone supplier? I haven't read on here of anyone trying it mainly because the T&C have put anyone off signing for them. BT are the only supplier who are bound to allow you to use CPS.

There is software available to telephone companies that monitors any attempts made to use other providers access codes.

If ITPlus discover you have attempted it their draconian Ts + Cs allow them to disconnect you + charge you rental due to the end of the contract + surcharge you in respect of calls made outside of their system.

If they disconnect you, then you will have to apply for a new line from BT which will incur further cost, and a period whilst you are unable to use the phone.

Then why ask the question 3 times?
  • I have just signed up i hope i haven't made a mistake
and gone to a more expensive provider but the line rental bit got me
i hate paying BT anything. are IT cheaper than TalkTalk.
and I think it is a contract for 12 months.
does anyone know if I can get out quick if it was a bad move
    any help gratefully received
    Regards Lee
