i have a John lewis toaster, they come with a 3 yr warranty. I bought it for the warranty as toasters never seem to last! I have already had it replaced as it stopped working after 2 years!0

Plumped for this Morphy Richards one in the end - comes with a manufacturer's 2 year guarantee and has some bun warmers for the top which will stop my OH putting already-buttered teacakes back in the toaster! Haven't used it yet but it looks good on my worktop.

Link doesn't appear to be working. Was it the £27.99 one? I've just bought that one and it looks really nice. However, I've just tested it with one slice of bread (in the second slot) and one side came out a lovely golden brown and the other was white! I hope it's just a rogue one because I do really like the toaster. Will exchange it and see, but would be interested to hear if yours works OK.0 -

Yes, it is that one (link now fixed) - hope for both of us it was a one-off! Will report back when tested.0
