Just because you are carrying small lengths of copper pipe it your car, I fail to see how it could be called waste carrying and thus require a licence. It is just an object that you are transporting in your car. For all they know, it could be a piece of modern art in the making.

Waste carriers license to take a bit of copper to the scrapyard. Are you two having a giraffe? Like saying a pregnant woman can still !!!! in a police helmet

No need to have conniptions about it guys. First of all I said "technically" and then also said if you are carrying it in a car you'll almost certainly get no issues. Just beware of doing it in a van. The environment stasi take no prisoners when they've a mind to.

Still not convinced the OP is going to get much of a night out though tbh. :D

You'll have to decide if it really is worth your while at iro £2 a kilo and thats for clean stuff. If its dirty and mixed metal then you are looking at half that. Don't forget that technically you'll be needing a waste carriers licence to take it there too.

If you've lots of other stuff to go wait for the !!!!!! to come along and tell 'em you can have the copper if you take that lot as well. They'll beef and moan but it usually works and you've saved yourself the cost of a skip.

    Cheers
