I applied for this sim card on line yesterday, was approved, then recieved another email to say-
Because you have an outstanding balance with T-Mobile we won’t be able to process with your order at the moment. You’ll need to ring our customer services team to arrange a payment for this before we can look at setting up a new account. Please call Customer Services on 0845 412 5000.
I have never had an account with t-mobile, I had an account with 0ne2one over 10 years ago, but i payed off balance and closed account.
I spoke to a couple of people on phone, 1st one tried to get a pass word from me so he could access account.
The second person i spoke me told me to write to an address sending proof of who i am and my address, a recent bill, so they could give me access to the account i am suppose to have with them and the money i am suppose to owe!
I asked her is she could just send the bill, because i have been living in address for 20 years and if i owe any money i am sure i would have been written to, she started talking about data protection etc..
I said well if you are gonna start on laws, isn't there one for the limit you can have an outstanding debt & pursue it?
she had nothing else to say that made any real sense to me, so i politely thanked her and hung up
i have found a customer service address on their website and am planning to write to them.
not really sure what else i should do, i dont think they can hold an account open that long, and why if they felt i owed them money, did they not write to me,
