Can I use the £10 I get with a new PAYG mobile on an old SIM card?

Hello people,

Please excuse me for being a bit thick, but hopefully someone can help.

My Dad is a PAYG customer with T mobile. He has an ancient nokia phone which has just died and asked me to find a cheap replacement.

I found this: http://www.e2save.com/mobile-phone/payg/lg/LG-GB102.html?tariffcode=ETMWPAU08 which costs just £2.95 on T mobile with £10 credit. Can he use the £10 credit on his existing SIM card, because he doesn't want to change his number, or does that credit have to be used with the SIM card he'll get with the new phone?

As both your old and new network are the same (T-mobile), you can ask the retailer to post you the top up voucher (which you can then use to top up the old number) only instead of loading the £10 credit to new sim card.

Actually, e2save automatically applies credit to the new sim and as far as I know, T-mobile don't offer a credit transfer service but I'd probably call them to confirm to be sure.

T mobile will transfer credit, they did for me in the past, just call customer service.
