i would LOVE to see peoples paintings
i love to see all sorts of crafts, i cant think of anything i wouldnt be interested in seeing
the things we each dont do personally are still of great interest i would have thought
i know there is a sewing thread, a sock monkey thread etc etc
but a general one like thsi one has been great, we have all supported & helped each other along the way, and its been nice, i for one have loved it
course, if you posted a piccie or 2 of your paintings now, it would HAVE to be included in the next thread!!:rotfl:
was that hint subtle enough???:rotfl:0 -

i take my hat off to everyone in this thread for their brilliant 'makes' :T
and im sure the recievers will be thrilled come christmas morning. i just wish i'd found the thread in say febuary as im so wishing id got more than 3 days to copy some of your ideas. next year i will join much earlier.
you have inspired me somewhat after spending a couple of hours back reading this thread this morning i was fired up enough to nip in the kitchen and make a poorly neighbour 1/2 a dozen mince pies (i know thats no where near in your leagues:o) but it was the thought that counted.
i did handknit 32 mini stockings for the class i was looking after at the primary i work at so that was a bit nearer.
next year i will be watching this thread with interest and planning early.SPC~12 ot 124

I've painted jars and added ribbon today, I'm all done now!
I've been busy making spicy stars (a great recipe I stole off the Tweenies website years ago lol), gingerbread, cookies (recipe courtesy of Esmer) and mince pies. I picked up the small jars in Lakeland for £1.50 and the large jar in Poundland then I've just decorated them with some glass paints and very wobbly handwriting!0 -
can i ask , do you sterilise your jars before putting food items in ? sorry if I am being dumb.
I have just found this thread so too late for this year, seeing all the wonderful HMG you have made has really inspired me. can't wait to join in next year."Sealed Pot Challenge" member 1122SW - lost 2.5 stones0
