    Yes! They're driving me mad.

Tried treating doglet with Lyclear, but they keep returning so had to resort to Frontline. They're biting me too - about 30 bites on me at the last count!

Tiny orange mites that attach to the dog from grassland/similar. They seem to attach around the dogs head and between the toes, and on my dog round her girly bits too, which must drive her mad. They bunch together which makes them more visible, especially on Tilly who's white.

They bite us over night, and are a devil to get rid of. We've used the Lyclear about three times, and Frontline on Wednesday I think, but she's still got them, and I'm still being bitten!

They sound like lice, not mites.

Lice gather in bunches like that.

    Hi

I have been trying to find out how to get rid of these awful creatures all summer. They bite me and not mu husband as much during the night and leave terrible itchy marks. We have two cats who we noticed had these but we treated them with the alternative of FrontLine and the mites disappeared in hours. I am starting to lose sleep as despite all attempts to clear the mites they seem to still reside in our bedroom. We have also tried various sprays for house treatment with no effect. I am convinced they live in our bed as we never get any bites at any other time of the day or night. Does anybody know of anything you can buy over the counter, which can help get rid of them?

    Thanks
  • I've not seen any this year, but do have two bites on my leg. They tend to like living inbetween my cat's toes. We've always called them red spider mites, but I know someone who calls them berry bugs. I've always found buying a cheap flea spray for your house and furniture plus frontline on the cats gets rid of them. You have to properly fume out your rooms though.
