You can get them over the counter at most, if not all travel agents.

You can get them over the counter at the Post Office too.

Marks and Spencer or some Sainsbury's are your best bet on a sunday, during the week Post Offices, high street banks, some travel agents will all have them. They don't need to be ordered at all nowadays.

If it comes to the worst and you can't get any tomorrow you can get them from an ATM with your debit card when you arrive in Spain, there's usually an ATM at the airport.

Dependent on the airport from which you are leaving, you can get a Travelex Cash Passport Globe with any amount above £250.

It just shaves 1.49% off the Mastercard Rate. That will give you a current rate of 1.197 Euros to the Pound.

Any reason why you can't just use an ATM when you arrive in Spain?

our tescos and sainsburys have travel money kiosks and most post offices have them to get over the counter too

  • A good idea may be to just change £50 here in the UK and then change the money in Spain at the exchange booths as you go along? That way you will not be left with any(or not many) euros when you return so will not lose out on the exchange back rate.

Providing you are in a tourist area and not somewhere remote, the Spanish exchange booths can be good and give a good rate.

Or as suggested use an ATM when in Spain?
