    So much good advice but notice you are roughly in the same area as me and if you need stair gates etc been told sure start offer them cheaply :)

    My Mam (GP receptionist) was just telling me about this. They offer other safety things like socket covers and cupboard catches, but not many people have taken up the offer in the area where she works (near Shiney Row).
    Here I go again on my own....
  • Am in same area too, and weirdly SureStart seems to cover all surrounding villages but miss mine out. My two (very well off, fab paying jobs, lovely new houses) friends were able to get allsorts of stuff and were invited to loads of parent classes - baby massage etc but seems unless I move I won't qualify (despite actually being poor!!)
