Getting an Xbox refund from one of my local stores in the morning.
Haven't needed to contact CS as I've managed to arrange everything thro' the store!
An interesting one though - They want to keep my receipt!
I can have a copy of it (signed and everything - ooh!) for my warranty!
I said what do you want my receipt for and she said that is what they do now! Well she doesn't know it yet but there is no way she is keeping my original receipt as it is my property!
She also stated that SOME PEOPLE HAVE BEEN GOING AROUND LOADS OF STORES AND MAKING A LIVING FROM REFUNDS!
I can't believe you lot! Who is it?
Also stated that they have been distributing pictures of people around all the local stores!
Don't know whether that is an invasion of privacy and possibly illegal as we are not shoplifters!

I had my receipt kept when I had a phone last week. Couldn't be bothered to argue with them.

I'd have replied to that last comment with "Well, better they making a living out of Tesco's frequent overcharges than the share holders".

yeah, makes sense to me

personally I think they using information of times on our receipts to gather cctv info and sharing images for all stores (what we don't know about, we can't prove)

Nope wasn't referring to anyone to be honest I don't have a clue, just had two pm's on another site saying that I had been outed as a spy and that's why I was telling everyone to contact head office so they could collect peoples details etc etc, not had anything back off my last pm to him/her though. I don't even know if it is on the msn site as I have never been on it, like I said unless someone from there confirms it as far as I am concerned it's just a little spite mail.
