Well jamesiebabie, all you have to do is:
Go to a different branch than before
Pay with a different card
Don't use a clubcard this time
Try to get it from CS at first, you never know
If you have to go via HO, write snail-mail to Sir Terry (if you emailed and phoned last time) using a family member's name and address. Indeed you could even have that family member with you when you shop, so that it is genuinely their purchase.
That's what I might do, but I know that really all this subterfuge/keeping a low profile should be unnecessary. You could be overcharged every day of the week in the same branch and should still be able to get R&R - but we all know what really happens don't we?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Agree with most of rest, tho'
I guess I should say there's a lack of "competent" managers.. many that I've had to deal with in the course of my job, are totally incompetent.
Incidentally, how many lines do you carry in your store, Constantine? (Off the top of your head, roughly... ) I don't think people realise just how many products Tesco ranges. If they did, they'd understand just how hard a task it is to keep on top of it all when the prices are changing all the time. I'm not making excuses for Tesco, by the way - just trying to explain why Tesco suffers this problem more than any other supermarket chain. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.
Cover up all the pain in your life
With our new product range.
So please don't feel blue - let us show you how

As for repeating offers yes they have in the past the brain one seemed to be on for 2 weeks its Lego starwars this week.
I cant belive we got so many pages on the last thread and even most of number 8 was about consoles and we are still going on about them.
I would have thought tesco would have stopped the offers by now. surely everyone when buying such a high value item makes sure the price charged and any offers actually go through when buy the items. I just expect that some people are happy to get the free game.
I am begining to feel sorry for Kevin and Joanne having to deal with allt he problems. I also hear that things maybe under review after what has happened.
I managed to get the reservoir dogs with ps2 silver last thursday, poster said little date in corner offer from 01/09/06 and i bought it on the 14th, at the same time id noticed the mcdonagh (i think) had bought it with lego star wars as game of the week, which was to be the new game that week, which inspired me to believe that neither had kicked in on the tills hence me going for it. im guessing the change over days is on the thursday and some run for 2 weeks with a date they start but no end date so they can change them weekly or so on...needless to say in my store following my r&r they wont and havent displayed any posters since and no sels, ridiculous as tesco must be losing more money by not displaying the offeres than they have on my single ps2 r&r. It clearly hadnt happened before in my store and such utter disgust from cs that i got it on the whole bundle has obviously challenged them to make sure it doesnt happen again...im a marked woman lol0 -

Well maybe, but I'm the same. I got a PS2 recently and am now tempted by the PSP. Will look out for it. I have four kids and would be using these for Christmas pressies, not selling them on ebay BTW.
Having said that, if another PS2 opportunity was there again I can't say I wouldn't take it. My CS R&R experience was so easy I couldn't wipe the grin off my face for days!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Anybody else see the irony in Asda doing a box of 30 bags of walkers for £2 and the announcement that an average 5ltrs of oil is consumed each year by the average schoolkid.:rotfl:Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0
