We were told that the credit checks are the same online and on the phone as they are instore, plus i don't want to keep applying, making my credit score even worse!0 -
I have recently moved house - bought my own flat and obviously got a mortgage for that. Because I'm not certain I can have my own satellite dish, I wanted to get a pay monthly broadband dongle until I decide on a provider for my internet. I found a reasonable one at vodafone, with £25 cashback via Quidco so thought that would more than pay for itself and so ordered it. I agreed to a credit check, expecting it to go through smoothly only to get an email the following day saying I had been refused. I promptly went to Experian, checked my report which looked fine. I was then curious to know my score so paid for that too. It was 951! Why the hell they refused me I don't know. I tried to call them and find out but I was passed around and eventually managed to explain my issue just to be given an email address that was wrong. I've gone with 3 now and the dongle should be arriving today. I still want to kick up a fuss with vodafone though. Not sure it's worth it...0

You might not meet their criteria. 3 are notoriously strict, I remember when they first set up shop, most people I knew got refused! They seem very hit and miss.
Orange are better than 3 anyway.0 -

Finally bit the bullet and ordered online. And guess what, it was accepted.
Now have a black 32GB Iphone 4 in my hands (you can't get the 16GB online
)
Still wierd that i was refused in the first place, but everything worked out in the end.
Many thanks to all who replied.0 -
