Hi
Apologies if repeated elsewhere.
Does anyone know if there will be any cashback deals on the new vodafone priceplans by any of the online retailers (except for the ones available direct from VF by choosing half price line rental).
The current VF are pretty lame dont you think?

There are about 50 or so 12 months free options available at present from the smaller online retailers (Phonebox Direct, Cool New Mobile, Phones2U).
The tariffs involved are:
200 mins + 250 texts (£30/month)
500 mins + 250 texts (£35/month)
and the best handsets currently to be found on these deals are:
Motorola V3
Motorola L7
Nokia 6070
Nokia 7360
Sony Ericsson K510i
Benq-siemens EF61
Of the other online Retailers:
E2S & OSPS simply don't (yet) offer discounts on the latest Vodafone tariffs.
Mobileshop offer some cashback on some deals but rarely more than a 50% rebate on the first year's line rental.
Mobile Outlet has pulled all of their Vodafone deals as of 01 Spetember - I'm not sure when/if they plan to reintroduce them and at what price point they will pitch them.
Buy Mobile Phones never really offered much, if anything, in the way of Vodafone deals in the past.
This information was taken from my database and is an accurate assessment of the situation as it was 2 days ago. A cursory check suggests that this hasn't changed.
