Hi there, My daughter and I are on Orange and I pay for their Insurance on both our phones, back in July she lost her phone so I reported it as lost and they sent a new one, they also sent a bag to return the phone which I did all you had to do was put it in the post box - so I did. They are now saying that they have not got the phone and want to charge me £200.00 for it. I asked them that if I hadn't found it would they still charge me they said no. Is this allowed can they do this? How do I know that they haven't lost it etc. The phone was blacklisted and barred and is therefore unusable.
Apparently I have to wait til Tuesday before I can speak to them.
Anyone had a similar case and how did you resolve it???????
Thanks

Are you sure all you had to do was put it in the postbox?
Did they not recommend sending it recorded delivery/special delivery, or even getting a proof of postage?0 -
No it had clear instructions to put it in the post box in hindsight perhaps I should have got proof of posting!0
