Which is better - babies or pigs

I have been raising free range pigs on a bit of land in my free time. Over the past few years it has taken up most of my free time. Anyway, my wife wants a baby, but thinks that as long as I have pigs to look after, I won't be able to spend enough (any) time with the baby. She says that I have to get rid of the pigs before we have the baby she wants. I am not sure I want to get rid of my pigs

So, which is better - pigs or babies?

I think you both need to sit and talk and listen to each other, right now i don't think it is a good time for a baby..

the baby she wants, you put that across as if its all her idea and not something you want,

and your pigs as if they are your babies.

So why can't you have both?
are you expected to give up all your free time to sit with a baby that will spend several months sleeping.... and at night asleep?

Having never had either i'm not really the best person to comment, but only you can know whether you're ready for the responsibilities that come with a child. The only thing in common would be the child by its teenage years will have a room like a pigsty :)

A pig won't start slamming doors and screaming that it hates you and wishes it had never been born at the age of 14.

A pig won't draw wobbly little fire engines all over your new wallpaper.

A pig won't hamper your social life (although it sounds like it might be hampering your sex life)

A baby can't be sold at the market if it doesn't live up to expectations.

As someone whose nickname is pandagirl because she is so obsessed with animals, I'd stick with the pigs! God I've give my right arm to be in your situation, having pigs is a dream of mine - send me your pigs and you can have your baby!

A pig wont cuddle up to you at night , wont make you proud every day of the year , wont play with you on the swings , wont amaze you every day with what they have learnt , wont hold your had and look at your like your the best thing since sliced bread............

A pig is a pig , feed it , water it and then slap it between two bits of bread and eat it.

If you live for your pigs then i dont suggest a baby , it might get in the way.

    Depends on the pig ;)

Although most of the swing seats aren't really designed for their build, shame really.
